How to Cut a Six Piece Skirt

Before you wrap a measuring tape around your waist, stand up straight and breathe normally. Measure from the top of your waist to the middle of your knee caps. You’ll need to adjust the waist and hip measurements to find the width for your 6-piece skirt.
Unroll pattern paper on a table and cut it to the length of your skirt. Mark 1u20442 inch (1.30cm) from the top, which will be the waist seam allowance.
