Here’s what you’ll need to make a pillow cover with piping:

Fabric cut to the size of your pillow form. Bias tape in the color you want your piping to be. Thread in a matching color. A zippered pillow cover or an envelope pillow cover.

How to sew a pillow cover with piping:

You want all three raw edges to match perfectly, so pin it in place about 2 inches from the end of your fabric and 1/2 inch from the raw edge.

On to the machine! You got this!

Sew the bias tape around the cording, then line up the piping on each side and pin it in place until the other side is ready to sew.

Place the remaining threads on top of the cording and tightly wrap the long end of the thread around the pieces and the cording two or three times before knotting the two ends together.
