If you’re wearing a loose, flowy, tie-free dress, you can skip this section. For your belt, you have two options: inseam (attached to the center back seam) or separate belt; both are great, so it’s up to you.
// INSEAM WAIST TIES //
Sew together just under 5/8u2033 from the raw edge of the right back piece, with the exception of the shorter straight end. Clip the corners and trim the seam allowance if necessary.
// SEPERATE WAIST TIE //
Sew three pieces together, leaving a 3 inch gap between them. Close the gap with hand stitching or topstitching close to the edge or hand stitching.
