Our skirt is part #2, and we’re going to attach the zipper, sew the lining, and test fit it. Remember, sewing is supposed to be fun, not stressful, so if you make a mistake or it doesn’t turn out perfectly, it’s OK.
Do I need a special foot to sew an invisible zipper?

The invisible zipper foot is used with the zipper open, and the right half of the zipper is placed under the right groove of the foot, while the left half of the zipper is placed under the left groove of the foot.

The Invisible Zipper Foot has two grooves underneath it to accommodate the zipper coils and keep them in place as you stitch. Buy a zipper that is at least 1 1/4″ (3 cm) longer than the zipper opening.
