How to sew thin leather easily with a regular sewing machine
Leather is one of the few materials that is cost-effective to sew with; leather garments are always in style, but they are extremely expensive to buy; making a skirt or bag yourself will be much less expensive than buying one in a store, especially upscale stores. You do not need an industrial sewing machine for your leather sewing projects; however, you will need special notions and tools.
What kind of needle is used to sew leather?

Leather skins, unlike fabric, are sold by the square foot; lambskins typically have 3 to 6 square feet. You must buy whole skins; they cannot be cut. The color of skins is not uniform; even two skins from the same batch may be slightly different.
